Ermüdungsbeanspruchung geschraubter Ringflanschverbindungen bei Windenergieanlagen
FKM 2002
Booklet No. 268
Project No. 240
Abstract:
The present work contributes to the calculation and design of bolted ring flange connections with the application focus on wind turbines. Numerical and experimental investigations were carried out to investigate the load-bearing behavior. Quasi-static load tests were carried out on ring flange segments in the laboratory and the influence of settlements on the loss of bolt prestressing forces was quantified. The loading of the connection on real structures was determined by measurement campaigns lasting several months on wind turbines in operation. The experimental results were compared and evaluated with FEM analyses and simplified engineering models. Recommendations for verification and building regulations were derived from this. In comparison to the perfect numerical models and the almost imperfection-free test specimens in the laboratory, the field test showed the dominant influence of imperfections on the loading of the connection. The objective of the research project has been achieved. Scope of report:
