Scope:
The objective of this guideline is to give guidance for safety measures and procedures related to work at height whilst using mobile cranes; the guideline covers design measures as well as best practice guidelines on procedures to safely operate and assemble/disassemble mobile cranes.
This guideline applies to mobile cranes as defined in EN 13000 and is considered as complementary to EN 13000 to give further guidance.
Additional control measures may need to be considered in countries where more stringent fall from height regulations are applicable, such measures fall outside of the scope of this guideline.
