The sale of complex machines is increasingly coupled with the offer of a service contract. In many cases, customers make the purchase of a machine dependent on the offer of a service contract. This requirement not only arises from the need of many customers to ensure the operation of the purchased machines in the face of increasing complexity and decreasing staffing levels, but is also in the interest of many manufacturers of capital goods to support their products with qualified service. The result of this development is clearly visible: the importance of so-called product-related services in our industry is growing and growing.
This guide uses specific formulations to show ways of contractually securing modern customer services.
