Description
Digital assistance for production
A guide for needs assessment, design and implementation
VDMA 2020
150 pages
Manufacturing companies are increasingly confronted with their customers' desire for customized products in the shortest possible delivery time, without compromising on quality or higher
The BMBF-funded project "IntAKom" was carried out in order to investigate these and other questions scientifically and yet provide practical answers. This guide is the result of close collaboration between three scientific partners from different disciplines, three manufacturing companies and a digital agency as part of the research project. It aims to offer scientifically sound and at the same time applicable assistance in the corporate environment for determining the need, design and introduction of digital assistance for production.
The combination of different approaches and the integration of valuable experience and ideas from practice made this project possible in the first place. We would therefore like to thank all partners for their cooperative and constructive collaboration during the three-year project period. We hope that the results of this work will help readers to make a successful start to their work with digital assistance.
